Elvis Festival, marketing and promotion and the Elvis Breakfast – the Chamber supports the Elvis welcome bags by preparing a postcard for each bag. The welcome bags are distributed to all accommodation houses to pass onto their customers.. The Chamber also participates in the Elvis Festival brochure in partnership with Forbes Shire Council promoting various aspects of Forbes to increase the local economic advantages from the festival. Full size Elvis corflutes grace the streets of Forbes and, to add to the festivities, smaller Elvis corflutes are placed onto the silver bins in Templar Street. If you have received a postcard, you can drop it off to the participating stores, these stores will have an Elvis in their window display. The draw will take place at the Elvis Breakfast held in Templar Street at 9am.
